It is my privilege as Director to welcome you to Abdur Rahim College of Pharmacy. Our college was established to fulfill the long-felt need for a quality B.Ed institution in the Hariharpara Community Development Block of Murshidabad, so that aspiring teachers from this region and beyond can receive professional training in a supportive and inspiring environment.

At Abdur Rahim College of Pharmacy, we recognize that the quality of school education depends largely on the quality of teachers. We therefore focus on providing a balanced blend of theoretical knowledge, practical school experience and value-based education. Our programmes are designed in line with NCTE regulations and the academic framework of the University of Kalyani to ensure that our student-teachers acquire the competencies required to teach effectively at the secondary and higher secondary levels.

Our campus at Choa offers a peaceful, pollution-free and green setting that is conducive to learning. With well-equipped classrooms, ICT and Language laboratories, Science and Mathematics labs, a well-stocked library and facilities for sports, art and cultural activities, we strive to support the all-round development of every student-teacher who joins us.
